Scholarships
PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND ADVANCEMENT SCHOLARSHIP
The ARMA Golden State Chapter is pleased to announce an opportunity to help Chapter Members further their growth and advancement in the Records Information Management (RIM)/Information Governance profession. This scholarship program will remain open until the Board of Directors discontinues it.
The chapter is offering Scholarships for reimbursement of a Golden State Chapter member’s Out- of- Pocket expenses::
- Preparation courses for certification (e.g., CRM workshops).
- Application expenses for those pursuing certification (excluding re-certification fees).
- Certification test fees.
- Books or other reading materials from certification programs' (CRM, CIGO, IGP, IAPP, etc) approved list.
As a Board, we are committed to investing in our members. We hope that this is an encouragement to pursue/maintain a professional certification. All awards will be issued in US dollars.
Application deadline is the last day of October for the Fall term and the last day of April for the spring term.
Applications received by the term deadline will be reviewed the following month. Scholarship awards will be disbursed in December and June respectively.

Maximum award: $500 per applicant per term. (Note: ARMA Golden State Chapter will award up to $2,000 in scholarships per term.)
Requirement: Current Member of ARMA Golden State Chapter*
Application Process: Submit a completed Application Form along with receipts of eligible expenses to [email protected]. Receipts provided must follow the requirements outlined on the application form.
Only completed applications with proper supporting documentation will be eligible. Complete means: Application form completely filled out – no blank lines- and all receipts and proof of expenses as described above where included at time of submission. Award will be based on qualifying fees paid and number of qualified applications received.
*A current ARMA Golden State Chapter member is a Professional Member of ARMA International who selected ARMA Golden State Chapter as a local chapter on the ARMA International website.
